Michael & JoAnn Sasnett are adventurers for Christ. Michael, when not installing tile, is a Gospel magician / illusionist, sharing God's love around the world using the eye-catching medium of magic. JoAnn is a Registered Nurse, and works in an emergency room in a major hospital in Charlotte, NC. They have two grown children and two fantastic grandsons.
The Sasnetts' goal is to continue helping people, both locally and abroad, ministering to their physical and spiritual needs. They have been on multiple short-term mission trips abroad. Michael and his brother, Todd, went to Ethiopia in February '09 to install ceramic tile at the SIM Sports Friends Camp Langano. Michael will be returning to Camp Langano in April '09 to do more tile work in the camp's kitchen and the clinic. Joining Michael on the construction effort will be Dave Jordan from Church At Charlotte.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the short-term mission trips to foreign countries is to share God’s Word with people groups who may not have had a chance to hear before. As Michael is self-employed , he has the freedom to arrange his work schedule to accommodate mission trips. Michael and JoAnn do, however, welcome financial assistance from interested contributors, to help defray the cost of travel and lodging. All donations toward the trips are fully tax-deductible.
